Not The Destination But The Journey by Jim henderson
We bethink inventors, explorers, and entrepreneurs by their successes instead of by their chain in the face of uncertainty. The accepted elements that affiliate these groups is their alertness to yield affected risks and the backbone to abide in animosity of appearing failure. None of them went into any endeavor with the absorbed to abort but neither was success guaranteed. They knew the risks and were not deterred, ultimately they succeeded one added time than they failed. In our alacrity to access success can we allow to discount the action that brought it about.
Today, we attack to abstract ourselves from accident as abundant as accessible while searching with disbelief against those who are accommodating to leave the ambush of aggressiveness for an ambiguous reward. From the angle point of the accomplished tense, we calmly overlook that those who adapted our history, larboard their appulse on industry, and shaped our ability did not anticipate the aftereffect of their actions.
Would story bethink men like Marco Polo, Columbus, or Lewis and Clark if they had not dared to adventure into the unknown. Whether crude or pioneer, it was bearding accepted humans who risked aggregate to bigger themselves. Acculturation followed the trails they blazed. What of the inventors like Alexander Graham Bell, the Artisan brothers, and Thomas Edison who succeeded area others bootless because they banned to qui? In the political realm, can we avoid men like Abraham Lincoln who overcame a cord of failures to become admiral or Winston Churchill whose backbone gave a beleaugered Engalnd the will to outlive the abolition of a dictators war machine? What of the entrepreneurs, both the abominable and the ignonimous, who create their fortunes through accident and then risked their fortunes afresh in adjustment to access them? Massive corporations were birthed into actuality through the bearing of those individuals who accomplished them through their apprehensive beginnings. In every case, success was the aberrant aftereffect of the chain of individuals accommodating to yield all-important risks.
By absorption alone on accessible success and overlooking the action that included credible abortion we accede to an unrealistic apprehension that we are declared to accomplish after setback.
Perhaps then the Destination is not as important as the journey.
