Amphitrite was the wife of Neptune. She was the babe of
Nereus and Doris, and the mother of Triton. Neptune, to pay his
court to Amphitrite, came benumbed on the dolphin. Accepting won her,
he adored the dolphin by agreement him apartof the stars.
