Academy science Ball holder

A ball holder is a simple accessory for captivation 3.5V bulbs for use in academy laboratories. A cost-effective way of authoritative ball units to use with 4mm leads, follows.

# Get the copse cut the copse to the actual admeasurement and sanded if charge be.
# Assignment 2 x 7.5mm holes at either end as appearance in fig 1.
#Drill 2 x 5 mm holes abreast those.
#Countersink the beyond holes to about bisected way, so that you can attach the nut of the 4mm terminals.
#Insert the 4mm terminals in the beyond holes, one of anniversary colour in either end, and defended with nut.
#Attach the artificial ball holder with the 2 screws, first conduct holes.
#Cut a 6cm section of anniversary wire, band the ends and adhesive assimilate the tags on the artificial ball holder. Ensure you accept got red wire to the red terminal and atramentous wire traveling to the atramentous terminal. Then advance the wire through the 5mm aperture and out the additional ancillary so you can then adhesive it assimilate the 4mm terminal.
#It should attending something like this. see fig 2. these are usually actual abiding and can be acclimated in conjuction with corpuscle holders etc.
